Unique Window And Door - New door lets cold air and rain into the house.

The original complaint was logged over 2 months ago.Since then Unique had to come and replace our original door.

We could not keep the double door because they absolutely could not fix the problem of air blowing though it. The new door was installed in December. It took almost the entire day and at the end they still needed to come back. Unique screwed up the cut on a piece and it was too short.

So I had to waste another day waiting on them to come out and fix their error. During the first windy day the new door let the wind blow through it like the old door. Another day wasted to wait for them to come out to fix it. They caulked the bottom of the door in an attempt to prevent the air from coming into my house.

The next windy day was this week...

the cold wind is still coming though.Still pissed.

We replaced the entry door on our house 3 years ago and it still is not right.Cold air blows right through the corners of the door and rain puddles on the floor inside the house!

At first, when it was convenient in their schedule, they would come out and adjust the door. The adjustments made the door so tight we could not use it. They decided that the only way to keep the rain out was to us a storm door. It took about 4 months to get it installed.

We scheduled the work for the morning and waited. It was around 1PM when we got a call that they would not be able to work on our home today. This happened 2 times wasting too much of our time!

At this time the door is still not effective at blocking the elements and we have been paying the price for 3 years.I would never suggest Unique to any one for any thing!
